We use the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, the industry’s gold standard for aerial imagery, ensuring the highest quality results. Fully licensed by the FAA and the State of North Carolina, and fully insured, we prioritize safety and professionalism in every project.

Based in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, we’re proud to offer our services nationwide, traveling to any location to deliver exceptional aerial solutions.
My Story
Davis Bunting, owner and operator of Piedmont Aerial Photography, entered the drone industry in 2020 after earning his FAA Part 107 Drone Operator License.

With a background as a professional aviator, Davis founded Piedmont Aerial Photography in 2024 to leverage his expertise and explore new opportunities to fuel his passion for aviation and aerial photography and videography.
When he's not piloting drones, Davis can be found flying jet aircraft for his airline, where he continues to pursue his love for aviation at the highest level.

Outside of flying, Davis is married to his wife Lucy where they have two cats, Harper and Fitzgerald, and one dog, Sebby.
